Beeswax wrap bag for bread | PlanBee

These beeswax bags are a real revolution in the kitchen when it comes to storing store-bought or home-baked bread. The bread stays fresh and soft in the bag perfectly. It’s a great alternative for plastic bags!

This bag for bread was sewn and covered in wax by hand in a small workshop close to the beehives kept and maintained by planBee.

Instructions:

• Remove the bread from its packaging (if it’s store bought);
• Place the bread in the beeswax bag;
• Wrap and seal the top of the bag with hand warmth;
• Store the bag in the fridge or in a kitchen drawer, away from heat;
• Do not put raw fish, meat or meat products into the bag. Unpleasant smell coul occur.
• The bag is not suitable for microwave use;
• Do not cut food on the bag;
• Do not turn the bag inside out as you may damage the beeswax layer.

The bags are made using pine resin, OEKO-TEX® cotton and beeswax from local beekepers in Šakiai, Lithuania.
